Dyslexic Mum's story
My 90-year-old Grandmother said to me, “Growing-up is Hard”. Now a mum and teacher, I know childhood is not always a fairytale.
Growing up in the 1980s, people called me thick, stupid and lazy at school. I now know that I am dyslexic. Working as a teacher, I saw the schoolchildren struggle as I did. Dyslexia was preventing them from learning.
More recently my daughter was falling behind in class. She came home from school feeling frustrated, which made me sad. I found existing Information about dyslexia to be confusing.
So I designed
Mooki cards for dyslexia, that can be used in the classroom or at home. Now you have the tools to help a dyslexic child learn.
