Made by Dyslexia with Katie Griggs, Helping Children

The founder of "Dyslexic Mum", I am proud to say I am "Made by Dyslexia". When my own little girl started to show the signs of dyslexia I started "Dyslexic Mum".

Growing-up dyslexic in the 1980s, I was punished, humiliated and bullied. The word dyslexia was never used and I believed I was naughty and lazy. I did not want my child grow-up this way and knew I had to do something about it.

Made by Dyslexia

Things have move on since the 1980s. Many great organisations are doing work to improve the lives of dyslexic children. There is even now a "Dyslexia Show", held yearly in Britain. Yet the organisation that is making the biggest impact has to be  "Made by Dyslexia". In association with Katie Griggs. "Made by Dyslexia" is an international charity, working worldwide. It has many famous celebrities working with them, who too are made by dyslexia . Including Richard Branson and Princess Beatrice. They are doing amazing work such as getting "Dyslexic Thinking". Recognised as a positive, employable skill on "Linkedin". The charity is now working towards all teachers being trained in how to teach dyslexic children. Starting all teachers in the state of New York.
